The XD5-40tR is a 4-inch (118mm) Thermal Transfer desktop label printer with UHF RFID encode and print capabilities. Offering an all-in-one interface as standard; USB + USB Host + Serial + Ethernet, with optional Bluetooth or WLAN. Alongside supporting a minimum pitch of 0.6 inches (16mm) RFID inlay to reduce media waste making it ideal for a range of industries such as Logistics, Warehousing, Government, Healthcare, Retail and more.
Available as the XD5-40tR (203dpi) and XD5-43tR (300dpi) options, the XD5-40tR’s standard model (XD5-40tR) offers accelerated data processing and print speeds of up to 6 ips (152mm/sec), while boasting enhanced memory space of up to 256MB SDRAM and 256 MB Flash.
Providing printer flexibility, the XD5-40tR offers an easy field-installable Peeler, Auto Cutter and external paper supply. Featuring a LCD display for easy setup and alert information, an adjustable paper guide and media roll diameter space of up to 127mm, suitability for both 1/2-inch and 1-inch core ribbons (74 m and 300m ribbon length) and enhanced ribbon handling with the new ribbon left-right balance adjustment. Alongside by Smart Media Detection™ for the automatic media detection of Gap, Black Mark, Continuous or Notch media formats, all back with a 3-year warranty as standard.
The RFID printer is compatible with market leading programming languages including SLCS™, BPL-Z™ and BPL-E™ and is accompanied with comprehensive firmware and software options, including BIXOLON’s XPM™ web-based printer profile management and Simple Network Management Protocol (MIB file).
