Joining SAP® Printer Vendor program as a silver-level member
Having equipped with an extensive range of Auto-ID printing line-up, BIXOLON Co., Ltd, introduced today, its new driver supporting direct printing from SAP applications to meet broader requirements in label printing industries with supplemental software offerings.
As general barcode label printers do not recognize the proprietary SAP data formats, IT managers are required to translate the data into printer’s command through additional software or middleware, which entails complexity with risk for errors while increasing Total Cost of Ownership.
In recognition of the needs for the optimized solution helping users in SAP based environments simplify operation and achieve higher level of productivity, BIXOLON has developed the driver to make direct printing options available. BIXOLON has also attained silver-level member status in the SAP Printer Vendor program.
Once device types are registered in the initial stage, all users accessible to the same server can simply output the labels created with texts, barcodes, and graphics in the Smart Form using the SAP data to the BIXOLON label printers anywhere.
The BIXOLON printers currently compatible with SAP are as below, including industrial and desktop label printers providing 203 dpi, 300 dpi and 600 dpi resolution capability and supporting Unicode label printing applications.
