EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED) – Security Compliance
BIXOLON wireless products are designed to comply with the security requirements of the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED), including applicable cybersecurity provisions related to network protection, data integrity, and prevention of misuse.
If your printer was purchased in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa (EMEA) on or after August 1, 2025, it will include enhanced security features designed to comply with the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED). During the printer’s initial setup, you will be required to create a Protected Mode password and enable Protected Mode before certain configuration options can be changed.
